I'm Anne, the designer and owner of ITOBITO, a small batch hand dyed yarn shop. All ITOBITO yarns are hand dyed with love at my home in Osaka, Japan. The best reward is having customers feeling warm and satisfied when knitting with our yarns, whether for themselves or for others.

The word ITOBITO is a juxtapose of the Japanese words 'Ito', which means thread and 'Hito', which means person. Literally, it means thread people, but in this case, people who love yarns. I used to think that I would only buy yarns to knit up a certain project but after a while, I started to find joy in just touching and mesmerizing at my yarn collection. Hence I think the name ITOBITO suits this creation best.
